Super-warship may fight pirates


The nuclear rocket cruiser Peter the Great may join a group of ships fighting piracy off the Somali coast. The super-ship has just completed joint drills with the Venezuelan navy in the Caribbean.

Im american, im gonna be honest. The kirov class looks impressive but they're old. I dont know where russian technology is at but... there werent any phase array radars that i could tell that were on the ships. as to the carrier killers your kirovs arent going to get within range and if you do get within range the SM and CIWS systems are incredibly effective.
